Sonal Patel

Sonal Patel joined Wastequip in 2020 to build out a strategic approach to municipal revenue.  In 2021 she was promoted to lead strategy for the entire company reporting directly to the CEO/Chairman.  In her current role, Sonal is responsible for M&A activities within the organization, including developing the company’s target list and performing due diligence.  She also works with the members across the executive team on building thought processes around new business direction and tests the strategic vision/go to market view of the management team. Prior to joining Wastequip, she held various roles at the World Bank Group and Bloomberg Government.  She has triple Master’s degrees in Economics, Public Administration, and International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Bucknell University.
