[CHARLOTTE, N.C. – May 4, 2023] — Wastequip, North America’s leading manufacturer of waste handling equipment, is pleased to announce that it has hired global specialty manufacturing leader Jason Moore to lead its Steel Division, which includes steel and ConFab brand products and personnel. Moore will work alongside interim Steel Division President Vance Tabb for the next several months before assuming sole responsibility for the group.
A seasoned manufacturing and specialty parts and equipment industry leader, Moore comes to Wastequip with more than 25 years of logistics, operations, financial, strategic leadership and change management experience. He began his career at Siemens, earning many promotions and moving on to increasingly senior roles with other companies, including UK-based Napier Turbochargers, which was eventually acquired by Wabtec, and REV Group, a publicly traded manufacturer of specialty vehicles, parts and services for fire and emergency, as well as commercial and recreation customers. Moore is accustomed to working globally, having overseen up to 8 business units across more than a dozen international locations at one time. He has also successfully helped design and lead companies through large strategic realignments, divestitures, financial turnarounds and acquisitions, all while delivering strong results and significant profit improvements.
A highly skilled strategic thinker with a collaborative work style, Moore holds a M.B.A. from DeMontford University in Leicester, United Kingdom and a B.E. in engineering and business studies from Sheffield Hallam University in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
