Wastequip is looking to expand its talent base. We have an exciting opportunity for 1st and 2nd shift Fabricators in our Eagleville, TN facility.
Sets up and operates power shear to cut metal objects such as plates, sheets, slabs, billets, or bars to specified dimensions and angle by performing the following duties.
Conduct outbound calling to key accounts to track customer satisfaction. Track activities within customer database. Generate leads for the environmental sales team.
Repairs and maintains building and equipment as required. Responsible for repair, as well as preventive maintenance.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all plant machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and specifications.
Responsible for following 1st piece procedure.
Responsible for cleaning hoppers and preparing area for material changeovers.
Work with engineers, designers, and/or other management personnel to set up, operate standard or specialized machine tools and accessory control devices to make a wide variety of parts.
Process molding machine, making minor changes in process to insure the quality of all products
Observe specific parts or equipment and materials in process to determine or analyze the cause of malfunctioning machines.
Starts up and shuts down injection molding presses.
Adjusts process parameters to correct cosmetic and/or dimensional defects injection and blow molding molded parts.
Perform routine mechanical inspections; maintain required records, and logs.
Dismantle and replace or repair defective components.
Perform minor electrical work.
Minor demolition work pertaining to facility maintenance and/or repairs,
Performs simple painting, obtain and return supplies and equipment.
Operate overhead crane, change molds and set-up machine for production.
Provide ownership and input of injection molding process and equipment for the reduction of defects, overall process improvement, and/or the reduction of downtime.
Operate maintenance machinery such as welder, metal saws, press, grinders and cutting torch, etc.
Ability to fabricate items as needed for production or building.
Prepare production molds by connecting all water as needed (chilled and tower water)
Connect mold heaters and mold thermocouple cables.
Connect hydraulics for mold valve gates and cores as needed in order to continuously support production schedules.
Use general ladder safety when obtaining, climbing and descending ladder.
Operate fork lift in accordance with safety rules.
Assist with plant maintenance activities as required.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Material Handler to support our East St. Louis, IL manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will use a fork truck to move raw materials, parts and finished goods throughout the plant to support production efforts.
Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a 2nd shift Painter to support our Eagleville, TN manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be familiar with using an airless paint finishing system in a high demand, fast paced production environment.

Cuts, trims, or scarfs metal objects with arc-cutting equipment to dimensions, contour, or bevel specified by blueprints, work order, or layout by performing the following duties. Also responsible for maintaining steel inventory
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Produce quality plastic wheels, lids, and small components for trash cans
Make necessary adjustments to injection molding equipment to keep it within allowable specification
Set up injection/blow molding tool and molds, sample/production molds, set-up machine operating parameters to process parts to specifications and connect all water as needed (chilled and tower water)
Start-up and troubleshoot problems at the press, inspect sample parts for accuracy, remove molds from the press, stage for disassembly, work with production teams to meet demand and continuous process improvement.
Connect hydraulics for mold knock out pins,(repair/replace) as necessary
Connect pneumatic lines to molds (repair/replace) as necessary
Connect mold heaters and mold thermocouple cables
Make resin color changes on machines as necessary
Assist the Shift Supervisor in training and directing of Packer/Inspectors to achieve quality production.
Enter end of shift production/downtime and quality information as required
Monitor IQMS system
Report any unsafe or out of specification equipment in a timely manner
In conjunction with Maintenance; diagnose, inspect, troubleshoot and investigate any issues with machinery during production. (i.e., production of out of specification parts)
Responsible for the reduction of waste/scrap rates in mold change process
Notify appropriate associates of scrap issues in a timely manner
Evaluate mold change schedule to meet production requirements, and communicate/coordinate plant resources involved in job change and scheduling processes
Conduct preventative maintenance while tools are in machines
Adjust machine parameters as needed for order specifications with minimal flash while ensuring safety rules are followed.
