Inspired by living in Germany after obtaining her science degree, Kristin Kinder's decade in the waste industry with Waste Management and ENGIE Impact focused on recycling education, MRF tours, behavior change, operations, product management, and in-the-field waste audits for Fortune 500 companies.
Since Kinder joined Wastequip as VP of Research and Waste Stream Sustainability in 2018, she has built the company's corporate responsibility program (CORE) and serves as an objective expert on key industry topics and positive environmental change.
Her 2017 TEDx talk on circular economy has inspired tens of thousands; Waste360 honored her with 2019's 40 Under 40; she holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University and a U.S. patent; and she serves on the Environmental Research and Education Foundation's Board of Directors.
