Henry Retamal joined Wastequip in 2013, previously serving as Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence and President of Toter, before he was named Operations President. Henry has played a critical role in in driving Wastequip’s efficiency gains by identifying strategic improvements within each operating group and implementing programs to track efficiency gains and cost savings. Prior to Wastequip, Henry served as the Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Off-Highway Manufacturing Strategy Leader for Dana Holding Corporation. In his role as Operations President, Henry is responsible for steel, Toter and Galbreath operations including manufacturing operations; manufacturing engineering and quality; planning and logistics; purchasing and operations excellence. Henry graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Brazil as an Automation and Systems Engineer. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt. In addition to English, Henry is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. In 2019, Henry received Waste 360’s 40 Under 40 award.
